Today in IT we learn't what Email etiquette is and how to use it, we used how to email our teachers when we need something e.g homework, First you talk politely to your teacher use full punctuation and no slang respect our teacher then make sure there is always a subject so your teacher can know what you are talking about.Once you are done with your question or statement u must ALWAYS!!! type before the end Kind regards.

The Hyper doc

Today in IT was a very fun day, we learnt what a hyper doc is and how to use it.It started of boring but then got really fun later in the lesson, we learn't how to do so many things like email our teacher make cool new docs and be part of a hyper doc!

I would like to thank the teachers for helping us and giving us this perfect opportunity to do something creative and fun thank you teachers.

Wondering about Wonder

Choose Kind

A few terms ago our teacher gave us a book to read called "Wonder"- these are my thoughts on it.

So our teacher gave us this book to read called "Wonder", I really enjoyed this book because in the story this boy called August is deformed and has never gone to a proper school before and he is going to go to 5th grade and gets bullied. I like how in the story his friends stand up to the bully and August is very grateful- he then becomes very happy and now he has new friends.

I think this story has changed me in the way that now I have warmed up to people who have special needs because before if I saw someone with special needs I would look away and try not to be mean to them, but now I know that I must look at them and smile and if they are coming to our school I will protect him/her and make friends with him.

I think Jack and I are the same because Jack was mean to August in the story, at first, but then he warmed up to him and now they are best friends. Sometimes I think that I am like that and I can sometimes be mean to my own best friends, but then I realise that I am in the wrong so I stopped and now they are my best friends.

I would seriously recommend this book to teens who love sad story's.

Stop motion project blog

Recently the grade sixes have been giving a project to make a stop motion video with  Plasticine  characters that we have made in tech, We got to completely customize our characters and made them according  to our own taste in heroes or villains.I really enjoy this project because  it gives us so much opportunity to show how creative we really are.One of many frustrations with this project is positioning, it is very difficult to record a stop motion video while trying to keep the same spot every week, another frustration is trying to make your stop motion project look more realistic by moving the characters or objects slightly so it looks like they are walking realistically this takes lots of time and is annoying if your  character falls over during  you have to restart.My highlight

of this project have been watching the end result, i like watching the end result because it shows us how far we've come.

Mindful messaging with the grade fours

On Wednesday me and my class went and visited the Grade fours to give them a tour about mindful messaging. It was very odd how most of them had phones in grade four but that doesn't matter.
You must be careful when using IM because sometimes you don't know who the person you are messaging and just remember social media spreads stuff very quickly so make sure to not use bad words and to always be kind but also aware of what u are messaging. In messaging you cannot hear the tone of someones voice so you do not know in what way they are saying it here is a e.g If someone say's wheres my Lego, You might take it as a threat but they are really just asking if you know where their Lego is.Another problem is in IM you cannot see who the person you are messaging facial expression is. Facial expression is How your face acts if you say a word e.g Im sad
In that facial expression the person will have a sad voice.Here are a few useful tips while messaging,
Be careful who you message you might not know the person who you are messaging.Message with nice words don't be rude because other people can also see your messages.Remember, say a sentence with a emoji if you can because that can be the facial expression and remember to put question marks if it's a question and a exclamation mark if you are angry.

My goal and dreams is that this year i want to get much better at cricket. Have a slide going into the sea from our new house.A dream I've had for a long time is going to Mauritius and kite surf again because i love kite surfing and the ocean .It would be amazing if i went to England I've been there before but i really want to visit my Uncles In England.But it would be really cool if i could travel the world going to the best kite surfing spots in the world.One of the things i want most is a Powerful computer that i can host online game servers on (its called a server computer).I  would use it for so many things i am currently saving up for a Sever computer for hacking so when my brother is annoying me I can DDOS him.The thing i want most of all is to get an academic honors which is sort of like a dream if u ask me. I also dream that my brother and i went Kite surfing and Him and I learn't a new handlebar spin trick.

Bashy: hi mom on my way home from school  i found an pet hippo i named it "bruce" can i keep it?

Mom: Oh my word Bashy get that out of here, and there is no way you are keeping it!

Bashy: Please mom ill take jolly good care of it, i will feed it everyday and etc

Mom: and what will you feed Him , where will he sleep !

Bashy: ill feed him dog food and he can sleep in the pool mom

Mom: and how is this gonna work for the neighbours and my tea  club, if they see a hippo they will think im crazy and never come again!!

Bashy: No we can keep Bruce  in my room when guests come 

Mom: Ok fine bashy but the hippos responsibility is yours just if anything goes wrong it is your fault 

Bashy: Yes mom!  I fully understand thank you!!
